Product details
This pocket-sized camera allows you to take pin-sharp DSLR-quality photos and quiet movies in virtually any situation. This is thanks to the large 1.0-inch type sensor, the superior performance of the
Digic 7 processor and the powerful Canon lens with 4-stage image stabiliser and Dual Sensing IS technology.
You can easily record Full HD movies at 60 fps in professional quality - or you can control the settings yourself in manual movie mode. MF Peaking gives you razor-sharp focus when you focus manually, and Touch AF lets you create beautiful cinema-like pull-focus effects. Even when in motion, the 5-axis Advanced Dynamic IS with Auto Level enables quiet and sharp movie shots.
With Dynamic NFC, you can connect the camera to a compatible mobile device by simply touching it, and easily share images via Wlan with the Canon Camera Connect App. The mobile device can also be used to remote control the camera or automatically backup the latest shots to a cloud storage device like Canon's irista.
The intuitively operable lens control ring can be assigned two different functions and can be switched to stepless or step-by-step adjustment by means of a switch. Image styles and 14-bit RAW capture enable seamless integration into EOS workflows. The RAW images can also be processed within the camera so that the optimum image quality is available for sharing on the move.
The 9-lamella iris diaphragm allows targeted control of the depth of field for an attractive background blur. To capture even the most spontaneous moments, the Digic 7 processor offers extremely fast data processing and thus continuous shooting at up to 8 fps - even at full RAW resolution. The camera's internal time-lapse function allows you to record impressive clips that can be shared instantly.
