With this lens, beginners in particular have the opportunity to acquire equipment for comparatively little money, with which they can take wonderfully creative photographs with selective depth of field...

The 160-gram standard lens with a speed of 1.8 costs just 230 euros. At aperture 1.8, the resolution in the centre of the image could be higher, but the contrast in the middle is already very high. Stopping down to 3.5 increases contrast and resolution in the centre to absolute top values...
