The Creative Sound Blaster G3 allows you to connect any headset with a 3.5mm jack to devices such as PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, or PS4. For this purpose, 3.5mm jacks for headphones and microphones are provided. The Sound Blaster G3 connects to the respective playback device via USB-C or using the USB-A adapter and operates without drivers. The headphone output supports high-quality studio headphones with an impedance of up to 300 Ohms, enabling the use of high-end headphones. Users can adjust the volume balance between voice chat and game sound, as well as emphasize movement sounds.

The Sound Blaster G3 features various controls that enhance the gaming experience: on the left side, there is a knob for microphone volume and a switch to mute the microphone. On the right side, there is a knob for adjusting headphone volume and the GameVoice Mix, with an additional switch to toggle between both functions. A backlit button on the front allows switching between standard mode and step amplifier mode, which acoustically highlights movement sounds in games.

With the Sound Blaster Command app for Android and iOS, audio settings such as the equalizer can be configured, and the microphone input volume can be monitored. This is done by establishing a Bluetooth connection with the Creative Sound Blaster G3.
