The chip card reader is compatible with a wide range of chip cards and can be used for quick online identification simply by inserting a card. It reads smart cards according to the internationally valid ISO standard 7816. The device also shows you the operating status through the integrated LED indicator. Your relevant information appears automatically on the screen, provided you have installed and started a suitable smart card software. This means you no longer have to enter your data manually in a cumbersome way.
