Bohemia – located in the heart of Europe, is an area rich in culture, silver, and imposing castles. The death of its beloved ruler Charles IV plunged the kingdom into dark times: war, corruption, and discord tear apart this jewel of the Holy Roman Empire.

Wenceslas, one of Charles's sons, was appointed as his successor. Unlike his father, he is a naive, excessive, and unambitious monarch. Sigismund, the Red Fox – Wenceslas's half-brother and King of Hungary – senses his weakness. Pretending to have good intentions, Sigismund travels to Bohemia and kidnaps his half-brother. Without a king, Bohemia is at the mercy of Sigismund, who plunders the realm on his raids and seizes its treasures.

Amidst this chaos, you embody Heinrich, the son of a blacksmith. Your peaceful life comes to a sudden end when a horde of mercenaries – hired by King Sigismund himself – burns your village to the ground. By fortunate circumstances, you are one of the few survivors of this massacre.

Deprived of your home, your family, and your future, you end up in the service of Lord Radzig Kobyla, who is forming a resistance against the invaders. Drawn by fate into this bloody civil war, you fight for the future of Bohemia.
