Compared to its predecessor, the new Denon AVC-X3800H scores points with more stylish menus, Auro 3D, more HDMI 2.1 functionality and Dirac Live. Like so many things in life, this Denon has unfortunately become more expensive and Dirac costs extra.
The Denon AVC-X3800H is clearly intended for large home cinemas, especially if a second listening zone is to be played at the same time. The very differentiated bass management can also be a real problem solver for some cineastes, and the price for what is offered seems almost moderate due to the enormous potential of the AV receiver.
