The Ducky Daybreak keycap set is made of the semi-crystalline plastic PBT, which is significantly more durable than conventional ABS plastic. Furthermore, they are manufactured using the double-shot process.
In the first step, the keycap is cast in a mould, and there is a recess for the inscription. This gap is then closed with a second casting. Thus, the actual keycap and inscription consist of two different materials, which are, however, firmly fused. This ensures excellent durability - even with intensive use.
