The EMG BTS Control is a broadband active bass and treble EQ for bass, housed in two separate pots. It works with any pickup, whether active or passive. Bass and treble can be boosted or cut by up to 12 dB. Both pots have a detent in the center position. The circuit board features two small dip switches that allow for four different settings for the treble response. The broadband operation is popular among many bassists because it is less selective, resulting in a sound that is more pleasant and musical to the human ear. This EQ operates with very low noise and is noted for its low power consumption (9V battery). The package includes two additional knobs for any existing volume pots. Included in the package: 1 BTS Control, 2 knobs, 1 battery clip with bus connector, 1 stereo output jack (battery switching), 4 interconnect cables (2 red, 2 white).
