Fujifilm Fujinon XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR
Fujifilm Fujinon XF, APS-C / DXProduct details
The new FUJINON XF16-55mm F2.8 R LM WR is a high brightness and weatherproof zoom lens for the mirrorless system cameras of the X-Series. The FUJINON XF16-55mm covers a focal length range of 24-84mm (equivalent to KB) and is therefore versatile.
To achieve the best image quality in this lens class, the fast standard zoom lens offers a single aperture of F2.8 and consists of 17 elements in 12 groups. This includes three aspherical lenses and three ED lenses.
The special HT-EBC coating developed by FUJINON and the nano-GI coating also minimise surface reflections.
The XF16-55mm F2.8 R LM WR has nine aperture blades that create an almost circular aperture, resulting in an excellent soft blur effect. The lens has an internal focusing that uses a light focus lens and a twin linear motor. This allows fast and quiet autofocus. The fastest autofocus speed of 0.06 seconds is achieved by the new XF lens in combination with an X-Series system camera with a live autofocus. The XF16-55mm is sealed at 14 points.
This protects the lens from both splash water and dust.
The focus ring and aperture ring, as well as the lens housing, are made of metal. The texture and torque of the adjustment rings ensure optimum handling, especially when focusing manually.
The lens mount is made of brass and is therefore extremely stable.
