The built-in Godox 2.4G Wireless X System makes this flash head compatible with Canon E-TTL II, Nikon i-TTL Autoflash, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus, and Panasonic TTL. High-speed synchronization is possible up to 1/8000s. It has master and slave functions. The AD400 can easily be used as a master in combination with other flash units like the Godox AD200 or V860.
