The Pixel 7s are good smartphones and take great photos, but Google knew how to make the successors more attractive in all respects. The 8s are faster, brighter and more durable, deliver even better photos and offer exclusive (AI) functions. Last but not least, the 8 series is the safe choice in the long term with its update promise extended from five to seven years...
- Very good display
- Very high working speed
- Waterproof
- Somewhat slow loading
- slightly less memory (128 GB)

- Bright and accurate 120 Hz OLED
- strong triple camera
- Dust and waterproof
- long update anxiety
- USB 3.2 and UWB
- LTPO does not work between 10 and 120 Hz as advertised

- Long battery life...
- Very good camera
- Powerful
- Long support
- ... even if it is shorter on the Pixel 7
- Scope of delivery
There is a common thread running through the entire test: The Pixel 7 is similar to the Pixel 6 in many respects, but there are no big surprises. However, Google has made the right adjustments: more power for the processor, more sophisticated software, chicer design - all at the same price as the predecessor and with long support. The Pixel brand is increasingly becoming a price-performance hit.
