Product details

World's brightest production lens. Absolute world novelty: With a light intensity of 0.85, the HandeVision IBELUX 40 mm / 0.85 is currently the brightest production lens in the world for system cameras with APS-C sensors. This allows for optimal photography in almost any situation – even in the worst lighting conditions such as in banquet halls or enclosed spaces. Even in candlelight, atmospheric images can be created. Exposure issues at weddings or parties are now a thing of the past.

Lightweight portrait focal length for valuable details. Due to its slightly smaller angle of view compared to the standard focal length, the lens provides the optimal framing in many areas. The lens corresponds to approximately a 60 mm in full-frame format. Thanks to its shallow depth of field and unique bokeh, it is particularly suitable for isolating a desired subject. Even against a busy background, three-dimensional images can be captured. The effective aperture can be clearly selected via the distinct aperture clicks. Focusing and exposure settings are done manually. A minimum focusing distance of 0.75 m facilitates indoor use for atmospheric shots. With a 67 mm filter thread, it is compatible with all common filters. Conveniently, the integrated lens hood is readily available when needed. The lens is designed for APS-C sensors.

Multi-coated lenses for optimal image results. A sophisticated optical design with 10 multi-coated lenses in 8 groups ensures particularly good imaging performance. The multi-coating prevents reflections, provides more light to the image, and delivers brilliant colors and high contrast.

German development – excellent quality. The HandeVision IBELUX 40 mm / 0.85 was developed 100% in Germany by the lens specialist IB/E Optics. It impresses with sophisticated engineering.
