Rank 4 out of 4Computer BildMultifunktionsdrucker im TestReleaseDecember 2024
High print quality
Very fast text printing
low power consumption
Very slow colour printing
small paper tray
somewhat high printing costs
The Deskjet 2820e is the wrong choice for frequent printers. The print speed in colour is too slow and the costs are too high. However, if you are looking for a compact and affordable printer, this is the right choice for you, as the print quality is impressive. If you need to print more later on, an ink subscription can reduce the costs.

Anyone looking for a printer for the home quickly realises that the price range is huge. The printers tested by Stiftung Warentest range from under 100 to over 1,000 euros. The differences in quality are just as great: while many good printers tested impress with razor-sharp text or brilliant photo prints, others disappoint with blurred, streaky print images, poor contrast or colour errors...

PCgo + PC MagazinSingle testReleaseMay 2024
The mediocre features of the HP DeskJet 2820e cannot make up for the manufacturer's online offers for its e-model, including the HP smart offers for ink subscriptions. In addition, printing is slow with high quality. Despite all the criticism of the features, the print quality was convincing. However, the model is rather unsuitable for frequent printers.
