Dieser Schwarzweißlaserdrucker druckt günstig, sehr schnell, sehr licht- und wasserbeständig und liefert sehr gute Textdrucke. Er ist gut zu handhaben. Das Gerät kann Papier automatisch beidseitig bedrucken (Duplex-Druck). Per Lan-Kabel lässt es sich in ein lokales Netzwerk einbinden und kann dann auch direkt von mobilen Geräten drucken – beispielsweise übers Internet oder per Airprint direkt von Apple-iOS-Geräten.
