The Huawei P20 Pro features a Leica triple camera with the highest pixel count on modern smartphones. The camera configuration consists of a 40MP RGB sensor, a 20MP monochrome sensor, an 8MP sensor with telephoto lens. It also features an exclusive new Leica color with a special ISP and color temperature sensor for better color reproduction.
With a f/1.8, f/1.6 and f/2.4 aperture for crisp, clear details and perfect clarity, the Huawei P20 Pro also features a brand new Leica VARIO-SUMMILUX lens with 3x optical zoom for wide-angle shooting with up to 5x hybrid zoom and a highly sensitive 1/1 image sensor.7-inch model (approx. 7.76 mm x 5.82 mm) for taking photos in low light conditions up to ISO 102400.

The Huawei P20 builds on the foundation of its predecessor, with a completely new Leica dual camera with a 12MP sensor with a pixel size of up to 1.55 μm and a 20MP monochrome sensor that improves the ability of the Huawei P20 to take photos in low light conditions. In addition, the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro feature a 24 MP selfie camera with AI embellishment and 3D portrait lighting, resulting in beautiful selfies with healthy-looking skin tone settings, finely defined facial details and realistic 3D feature enhancements.

AI-supported scene and object recognition has the ability to identify 19 different scenarios and objects and select the right skills for the right moment - brand new in Huawei's advanced camera system is 4D Predictive Focus. In this mode, the camera forecasts moving objects and focuses them with extreme efficiency to capture the smallest details of moving objects. New in the Huawei P20 series is the AI-Assisted Composition, which offers intelligent suggestions for group shots and landscapes.
In addition, Huawei AIS (AI Image Stabilization) stabilizes handheld night shots and delivers incredible images, even without a tripod. This also benefits videos, as the Huawei P20 series supports six-axis stabilization and 960fps slow motion for clear and detailed recordings.

AI-controlled, smart operation
Powered by Kirin 970 with EMUI 8.1 based on Android 8.1, the Huawei P20 Series offers superior performance and a smooth user experience. EMUI 8.1, fully customizable with AI support, includes Huawei Share 2.0 for seamless file sharing between Huawei phones, PCs and Macs; a simple projection function for sieelessly connecting the Huawei P20 series to a larger screen; and a smart screen function for an intelligent split-screen interface to run two supported applications side by side.

The Huawei P20 Series offers the best Bluetooth audio quality with 990 kps bandwidth for supporting high-resolution audio files. Like the Huawei Mate series, the Huawei P20 series has a TÜV-certified Huawei SuperCharge and a 4000 mAh battery in the Huawei P20 Pro with AI-powered battery management. The Huawei P20 Pro is also waterproof and dustproof to IP67.

Huawei has also developed its own version of Prisma for the Huawei P20 series, which supports real-time filter recommendations based on object and scenario recognition. The computing speed is 3-4 times faster than in the cloud version. In collaboration with Google, the Huawei P20 series also supports Google ARCore to provide advanced AI features.
