Lichtgestalt. Erinnert mit aktivierter Lichtshow an eine Lavalampe, erzeugt wechselnde Farbmuster. Klingt in Innenräumen gut, draußen etwas kraftlos. Eignet sich auch sonst nicht besonders für Außeneinsätze: Die ungeschützten Membranen können beim Transport beschädigt werden. Vorspringen bei Titeln ist möglich, Zurückspringen nicht...

Der Klang des JBL Pulse 3 ist ordentlich, aber nicht herausragend. Einen ähnlich guten oder teilweise sogar etwas besseren Sound bieten teilweise auch Modelle, die günstiger zu haben sind – wie etwa der UE Blast. Aber für den Pulse 3 gibt man die 249 Euro – bzw. rund 200 Euro, die er aktuell im Handel kostet – nicht für den Sound aus, sondern weil man den Lavalampen-Effekt haben will...
