The Keychron Q1 is made from a CNC-machined 6063 aluminum case that goes through 24 processes, including polishing, anodizing and sandblasting. The seal-mounted design gives the board a comfortable, flexible feel with excellent sound. The Q1's maximum flex is up to 2.5mm.

The keyboard features a toggle switch for the operating system and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems.

With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and map every key on the keyboard. VIA open source firmware lets you define any key, keyboard layout or backlight. Even writing from MACROS for custom key combinations you want on your Keychron Q1. VIA supports macOS, Windows and Linux.

The hot-swappable board supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical MX switches. Gateron screw stabilizers are included in the Q1 to provide stability and smoothness. The screw design also allows compatibility with a wide range of other stabilizers.

The south-facing RGB SMD LED lighting is easy to see as they face the user. Developed in collaboration with Gateron, the Phantom Switches are pre-lubricated at the factory and provide an excellent typing feel which, is completed by the Double-Shot ABS keycaps.
