The LevelOne FVT-0103TXFC is a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) converter that converts data from 10/100BaseTX copper to a fiber optic interface. This PoE converter is designed to receive data and power from PoE networks to transmit data over fiber optic connections, enabling network extension. The PoE converter is compatible with the IEEE 802.3af standard. The 10/100Base-TX port automatically detects 10Mbps or 100Mbps connections and offers auto-negotiation for full/half-duplex modes as well as auto-MDI-X. The FVT-0103TXFC converter features a high-quality multi-mode SC fiber optic connector, allowing a PoE network to bridge distances of up to 2 km via fiber optic connection.
