Schick gemacht und gut vernetzt, aber ganz schön teuer. An den Nest-Kameras stören vor allem die hohen Folgekosten, sobald man ihren Funktionsumfang voll ausnutzen möchte. Um WLAN-Schwächen umgehen zu können, vermissen wir zudem einen Ethernet-Anschluss. Der Nest Protect ist zwar auch kein Schnäppchen, seine Komfort- und Cloud-Funktionen stehen aber zumindest kostenfrei bereit.
