The NETGEAR Nighthawk AX8 8-Stream AX6000 WLAN Router (RAX80) features a 64-bit 1.8 GHz quad-core processor designed to transfer multi-gigabits of data with near zero CPU load. 160 MHz channel support doubles the speeds of 80 MHz channels to provide Gigabit speeds to compatible devices. This router is the industry's first home router with multi-gigabit support achieved by merging two Gigabit Ethernet ports. The router is prepared for the upcoming multi-gig Internet wave in DOCSIS 3.1. AX WLAN is designed to deliver up to 4x the data capacity of previous standards and features advanced technologies such as OFDMA, 160 MHz channel support and 1024 QAM to significantly improve network efficiency.
