Am Ende reicht es für das Weitwinkel-Objektiv zu einer guten Note im Test. Dies hat es weniger den durchschnittlichen Ergebnissen bei Auflösung und Ausstattung zu verdanken, denn vielmehr den Resultaten bei der hohen Objektivgüte und auch dem starken Autofokus.
Abgesehen von der eher straken Verzeichnung bei 16 mm ist das Nikon Objektiv extrem hochauflösend, wobei in der Tat auch die 24 Megapixel umgesetzt werden. Dabei ist die Verarbeitung exzellent und der AF sehr flott und arbeitet leise. Zudem ist der Lieferumfang mit Bildstabilisator sowie Sonnenblende üppig.
das Objektiv bietet sehr gute Leistungen und hat dabei nur geringe Schwächen bei der Anfangsbrennweite.
