The lens has a nanocrystal coating for exceptionally sharp images even in poor lighting conditions. A rounded aperture with 9 slats allows a super soft bokeh. With its ruggedness, reliability and outstanding optical performance, this lens won't let photographers down, even under tough conditions. Outstanding optical performance: an aspherical lens provides highest resolution. The nanocrystal coating minimizes ghost images and scattered light effects. Silent wave motor (SWM) for fast and quiet autofocus. Rounded aperture with 9 slats for super soft bokeh.

Hinsichtlich der Objektivgüte zeigt sich das Nikon AF-S Nikkor 1,4 / 35 mm G als eine gute Wahl, ebenso macht der Autofokus einen prima Eindruck. Weiterhin ist die Ausstattung insgesamt sehr stark, jedoch zeigt die Festbrennweite bei der Auflösung nur ein mittelmäßiges Ergebnis.
