Die Nikon Coolpix L820 zeigt im Test, dass sie in erster Linie für Foto-Einsteiger und bequeme Fotografen konzipiert ist. Die Kamera bietet zum moderaten Preis einen üppigen 30fach-Zoom, viele Motivprogramme und ein scharfes Display. Der Einsatz von Standard-Batterien ermöglicht eine lange Laufzeit. Wer gern ohne Automatikprogramme fotografiert, sollte einen Bogen um die Coolpix L820 machen.

Die Bridgekamera hat einen sehr große Zoom und ist so bestens für Makroaufnahmen geeignet. Dabei sind die Bilder sehr scharf und farbneutral. Zudem ist das Display mit 921.000 Pixeln hochauflösend. Lediglich die mäßigen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten stören ein wenig.
