The D4 offers an unbeatable combination of a frame rate of up to 11 frames per second, a 16.2-megapixel FX-format sensor, and an exceptionally high ISO sensitivity (expandable up to 204,800, equivalent to ISO).
The CMOS image sensor in the FX full-frame format has an ISO setting of 200 to 12,800 or ISO 200 to Hi 4. Additionally, the camera features built-in sensor cleaning, Full HD video, an AF system Multi-Cam 3500FX with 51 focus points, an EXPEED image processing engine, a silent mode, and a highly precise shutter mechanism made of durable Kevlar/carbon fiber composite material. HDMI output and Ethernet (RJ-45 connector) are also included.

Die Kamera sorgt mit ihrer konstanten Leistungsfähigkeit besonders im Profibereich für Aufmerksamkeit. Die Ausstattung ist nahezu perfekt, ebenso wie die überragenden Bildqualitäten. Ohne Zweifel ein echtes Highlight.

Es fehlt bei der Nikon Kamera nicht viel zur Perfektion. Besonders die ausgezeichnete Bildqualität, auch in hohen ISO-Bereichen, begeistert hier vollends. Die Bedienung ist ausgezeichnet und man merkt der Kamera in allen Belangen ihre Profitauglichkeit an, wenn auch beim sehr hohen Preis.
