As a guide, he mourns the soldiers who gave their lives on the battlefield. Lanz: An ally of Noah. He wields a large sword that can also be used as a shield. Eunie: A childhood friend of Noah and Lanz with a sharp tongue and rough character. She specialises in healing her fellow warriors in battle. Mio: The other protagonist of the story. Mio is an Angus soldier and, like Noah, a guide. Taion: A strategist who fights alongside Mio with intelligence and wisdom. Sena: This soldier is an ally of Mio and Taion. Despite her petite figure, she has enormous physical strength.
