Product details
Like all OM-D models, the E-M10 Mark II offers outstanding imaging performance in a remarkably compact, lightweight and stylish package. So it's perfect for on the go - anytime, anywhere.
If a larger telephoto lens is to be used, the quickly connectable camera handle provides additional stability.
What immediately catches the eye is its noble retro design: the robust metal housing is solidly crafted. The chrome-plated selector wheels with their milled edges allow comfortable operation. A highlight is the on/off switch, which reminds of the legendary OM-1.
The 5-axis image stabilization system compensates for image blur caused by unsteady camera movements in almost any shooting situation - from movements in macro shots to angular movements in telephoto or night shots. By integrating the 5-axis image stabilizer into the camera body, it works independently of the lens used. The camera shake compensation corresponds to a shutter speed reduced by up to four EV levels. Even with hand-recorded video recordings, such sharp results can be achieved.
The E-M10 Mark II features a large, fast electronic OLED viewfinder with 2,360,000 pixels. The 100% field of view is invaluable in image composition, especially in low light conditions. In addition, the electronic viewfinder displays the manual settings and optional effects in real time, allowing the user to check his recording directly before it is triggered. Color, highlights, shadows, aspect ratio and the results of the 14 Art Filters and 9 Art Effects can be fine-tuned.
The E-M10 Mark II also offers numerous creative possibilities for video recording. For example, the Movie Clip function can be used to create short clips and edit them in the camera. Also new is the 4K time-lapse video function. In addition, the videos created can be played back in slow motion.
The OM-D E-M10 Mark II is equipped with a large 3-inch touch screen for quick and easy focusing, taking pictures from unusual perspectives or selecting and reproducing images. It allows fingertip focusing directly on the LCD, even while the electronic viewfinder is in use. Another special feature of the display is a special fingerprint resistant coating for a clear view of the image.
