Benvenuti in Italia i miei amici! The SCS Software development team is working on the new expansion of Euro Truck Simulator 2 to delight fans with their rendition of beautiful Italy, showcasing its rich history and modern industry. The map designers fell in love with the new region right from the research stages and were excited by the wealth of diverse environments to bring together. From mountain peaks and beautiful lakes to the shores of the seas, from manicured farmland to historic architecture, the team has risen to the challenge of this demanding task.

Due for release later in 2017, the team has worked diligently to achieve a true representation of this historic country, portraying the typical features of the landscape as seen from the cab of a truck. Examples of this work are shown on the roads leading through the Apennines, where tunnels and bridges alternate with scenic vistas and curvy sections of road, opening the view to distant horizons. The geography and shape of Italy have also led to a relatively high concentration of cities and industries in this new DLC. This special edition also comes with a range of Italian-inspired paint jobs.
