Product details
As part of its range of high-quality travel zoom cameras, Panasonic presents the Lumix TZ71, the improved successor to the successful TZ61. It combines a powerful 24-720mm Leica zoom lens and numerous
manual settings in a small, slim body. With its convenient operation via multifunction ring on the lens, variable photo and Full-HD video image design, RAW format and WiFi/NFC connectivity, it is recommended as an uncomplicated travel companion for high-quality photos and videos. Panasonic's TZ71 uses a 12.1 megapixel high-sensitivity MOS sensor to improve image quality even in low-light conditions. Its individual pixels are more than 1.5 times larger than those of the Lumix TZ61 sensor. This guarantees sharp and detailed photos and videos even in bad light, such as during an evening stroll on the beach. The standard ISO range now includes ISO 80-6400, and the Lumix TZ71 also allows RAW recording to take full advantage of the sensor's quality reserves for images with minimal noise. The compact Leica Vario-Elmar 30x Zoom 3.3-6.4/4.3-129mm covers the wide range from 24mm Super Wide to 720mm Super Tele (KB), which can be expanded to 60x with the Intelligent Zoom function. The 5-axis Hybrid O.I.S+ Image Stabilizer effectively protects against camera shake and enables sharp, hand-held photo and video shooting even with the longest focal length.
The Lumix TZ71 records videos in full HD 1920 x 1080/50p in AVCHD progressive format. For even safer and more comfortable image control, the Lumix TZ71 is now equipped with an integrated electronic Live Viewfinder (LVF) with improved resolution of 1.16 million pixels and automatic switching via eye sensor. The 7.5cm LCD monitor now comes in the TZ71 with a resolution increased to 1.04 million pixels. Variable image design in an uncomplicated way allows a handy, practical rotating ring around the lens. It provides direct, intuitive control over frequently used settings such as aperture, shutter speed, focus, filter effects and scene modes. The settings are displayed on quasi-analog scales at the bottom of the Live View image. The flexible autofocus of the Lumix TZ71 controls sharpness at 240B/s, providing a lightning-fast response in a wide range of shooting conditions. With manual focus control also possible via the multifunction adjustment ring on the lens, a focus peaking function supports reliable and fast focusing. Numerous creative automatic functions allow for a variety of photo and video designs beyond the usual already during or even after the recording. The 15 filter effects include the popular "star filter", "miniature effect" and "selective color" effects. With the new "Time-Lapse-Shot" function, you can take several pictures in the course of a certain time at predefined intervals and then save them as mini videos in MP4 format. Impressive images of a changing cloud or starry sky, for example, become possible. The Lumix TZ71 takes action shots with a maximum of 10B/s at full resolution. A series of sliding components and a retractable lens barrel allow for a sleek, compact body design that allows the TZ71 to fit in your pocket. The TZ71 can also be held securely with just one hand thanks to the more profiled, non-slip handle on the front of the camera.
