Philips 558M1RY/00
3840 x 2160 Pixels, 55"Product details
These Philips monitors use high-performance displays for crystal-clear 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) resolution. Whether you have high demands for detailed data for professional CAD solutions, use 3D graphics or work with huge spreadsheets, Philips monitors will bring your images and graphics to life.
Because of the way brightness is controlled on LED-backlit screens, some users experience flicker on the screen, which causes eye fatigue. Philips FlickerFree technology applies a new brightness control solution to reduce flicker for more comfortable viewing.
Input delay is the amount of time between performing an action on a connected device and seeing the result on the screen. A low input delay reduces the time lag between command input on the devices and playback on the monitor, greatly improving playback of video games that are prone to judder. This is especially important for fast-paced competitive games.

Externally, the 55-inch display is a chic TV with soundbar and Ambiglow - the name Philips gives to its Ambilight for monitors. It is not only the display port input and the lack of a TV tuner that distinguish it from "real" TVs; when compared directly with a TV, it is immediately noticeable that the Philips giant has a matt panel, which is now also common for monitors, but not for TVs...
