Product details
The Philips Fidelio B8 is a 5.1.2 multi-channel sound bar consisting of a total of 18 speakers (consisting of 10 highly sensitive racetrack drivers and 8 soft dome tweeters), which provide sound in a slim
design. In addition to the conventional 5.1, two additional patented upward-facing speakers are included (each consisting of 2 racetrack drivers and 3 tweeters).
These speakers are aligned at an angle calculated by engineers to direct sound towards the ceiling, transforming height dimensions into breathtaking sound. With Dolby Atmos and Philips' proprietary Ambisound technology, the B8 offers an unparalleled 3D sound experience.
On most soundbar systems, the center channel has been reduced to a 2.1 channel. Therefore, their sound quality is not very clear. However, the Philips Fidelio B8 is equipped with two special drivers for the center channel. Both have their own amplifier and produce a different sound signal. This ensures improved voice quality whether you're watching movies, TV programmes or the news.

Between classic and modern. Modern with Dolby Atmos. However, the spatial sound effect upwards is limited. No extension with satellite speakers possible. Sounds pleasant, but bass tends to boom. Film dialogue well intelligible. Classic: without WLAN, no multi-room.
