I feel strongly reminded of the last stalemate with Pico 4. The Ultra model comes with better hardware and a more obliging value for money. More memory, more RAM, you don't have to buy a Pro headstrap, the 3D view in passthrough is more pleasant, the controllers have a better grip and so on...

- High resolution
- Strong performance
- Wireless transmission works with low latency
- MR functions basically well implemented...
- ... but still needs a lot of software optimisation
- App store lacks important titles

- Technology and features on a par with the top dog Meta Quest 3
- Optional trackers really add value in sports and rhythm games
- Mixed reality is sensibly implemented
- Software variety smaller than with Meta
- Short battery life
- Hand tracking not at top level
