Thanks to the optical properties of the new E Ink-Carta display, a higher contrast ratio is possible than before. The result is much closer to printed books—a lighter background and richer black make reading even more enjoyable. The new technology improves contrast by up to 50 percent to 15:1 and increases reflectance by 20 percent compared to its predecessor. These improvements make it possible to display texts and graphics even more clearly. Reading in even the smallest fonts and working with detailed diagrams and graphics is now even more convenient. Like its predecessor, the PocketBook Touch Lux 3 stands for "De Lux" foreground lighting, which ensures maximum reading comfort in all lighting conditions.
