PrimaSELECT Polyetherimide (PEI) Ultem 1010 is an amorphous, amber to transparent thermoplastic with a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217 °C. The 3D printing material can be processed in continuous use up to 170 °C. This inherently flame retardant plastic is rated UL94 V0 and 5VA.

PEI Filament - High manufacturing quality

PrimaCreator PEI Filament has unique properties as it does not come into contact with water during the production process and is packaged directly in a vacuum pack. These properties make the PrimaCreator PEI Filament particularly suitable for use in FDM & FFF 3D printers. The material has excellent adhesion between layers, which leads to a great improvement in impact resistance, strength, durability and the printing process.

To create a successful PEI print, there are a few things to consider

Your 3D printer must be suitable for PEI filament and should print at a nozzle temperature of 350-380°C. The heating bed should be set to 120-160 °C and a heated chamber is important to have. It is also important that the printer is in a room where there are hardly any draughts and temperature fluctuations. PEEK is best printed at a printing speed of 15-30 mm/s on a PEI film.
