The P-touch 2450DX is explicitly not on the compatibility list. The original power supply is probably 9.5 volts. But 9V operation should not be a problem, it is within the tolerance. I can't say whether the hollow plug fits, but from the pictures it seems to work. Power consumption in watts is also unclear. It's probably worth a try. Another possibility is this one: Goobay Universal Power Supply Please note: (!!) The P-Touch wants the +pole on the outside of the hollow plug (!!) (usually the +pole is on the inside). You can see this when you look at the power connector on your P-Touch, it is printed on.

I see. So it's not a current model ;-) In this USA manual on page 47 it says: AD-30 as the type designation for an AC adapter. But this is probably for 110V and not for 230V. In Europe, there is a MODEL-G, which is apparently no longer available "new". According to Brother Support, the power supply is not compatible with the PT-2450DX. Your PT model is not listed among the compatible devices of the power supply. Also, on the support page for your PT, I can only find "or optional power adapter model H".

No is not compatible. The AD-24ES has 9V output voltage. The PT 540C requires 7V -> AC adapter AD-30

Hello Jolanda. Seems to be an older model? Sold out on both Broher.ch and Brother.de and no info on power supply available. Not only listed on digitec.ch in the compatibility list. Am eicht glad, I bought mine as my batteries, PT105, kept running out. Buy and try. Good luck.
