Digitus Ultra Slim HDMI Splitter
no both monitors get the same signal
I use the splitter to connect my Apple TV to two different HDMI inputs on my AV receiver at the same time. Why do I do this? One input has a setup that is set up for audio, the other for video. Depending on whether I am listening to music or watching a film, I then select the other input of the receiver. Actually, it's the same as if you (like you) want to connect two different devices. Conveniently, you don't have to switch anything on the splitter. In this respect, I would think that your application should work.
Are both cables suitable high-speed cables? Or in other words, does the direct connection to the PS5 work with both cables or have you only tried it with one of the two cables?
this won't work, you would have to buy an audio splitter Delock HDMI Audio 5.1 Extractor, 4K, 60Hz Something like this should work
