I can't answer that. In any case, I would advise against replacing the transfer unit. It didn't help me at all, the same error message is still displayed even though I have replaced almost everything in the meantime. There are good instructions on YouTube on how to clean the used transfer unit and continue using it. Free of charge.

... probably not, but to be on the safe side I would rather ask HP, who have taken over Samsung: https://support.hp.com/ch-de. Fortunately, I have now said goodbye to this printer, which never stopped having parts to replace, sometimes the drum, sometimes the transfer unit, the waste toner containers etc. etc., and all not exactly cheap.

Yes, exactly. Unfortunately, however, the printer still does not work because even after inserting the new transfer ribbon the counter was not reset to zero (0). I.e.: new transfer ribbon and the counter still shows 20'000 and therefore still does not work. I have found various solutions/help on the Internet and tried them out. But so far without success!

Helpful answer

I cannot answer that question. If the printer is more than 5 years old, I would no longer buy the transfer unit. In my case it was first the transfer unit, then the roll and finally the printer had reached its end of life. I would first look at the print capacity of the machine and where it stands now. At 15000/20000 sheets, it is certainly no longer worth replacing the transfer unit.
