Hi, no the cable is already built into the remote control, so only playable via that cable, you cannot change it and it does not go via bluethoot or wifii like other controllers

good day, i wouldn't buy this controller. i bought 3 times, had to send each one back and now have the original nintendo and it's tip top. the one with the aeroplane should work, but i'm not 100% sure, sorry. hope to have helped
