The problem is the pressure that you get on your ears, generally speaking, only headsets with some sort of memory foam are comfortable, but the headband design plays an important role and a good design can ease pressure on the ears and also on the fram of your glasses. The Voyager Focus headband is designed to do this better that others that do not have this special headband design, but nevertheless, if you need to wear headsets for hours, all of them become more or less uncomfortable. And as mentioned already, weight is key here, if the headset is light, this is way better than having a heavy one. Unfortunately with wireless, there comes always more or less a bit of extra weight.
No, the charging station does not ring. It rings via the corresponding programme either via the loudspeaker on the computer or, if the headset is switched on, via the headset itself (you can only hear it when it is on).
Yes. The matching original receiver is this one: Poly Adapter BT600. You can find it here at Digitech. Even though it's not exactly cheap, it's guaranteed to fit.
Yes, do it all the time
I wasn't able to identify any difference either. I went with the M version as we use S4B in my work place. It's been a great headset.
This is not a problem. The headset does not answer the call directly. The headset has a sensor that detects whether you have the headset on or not. The call is only accepted when you put on the headset. This is also an advantage when listening to music via Bluetooth. As soon as you put the headset down, playback stops and starts again when you put it on. Really an ingenious device😊.
If BT is really present, this runs REIBUNGSLOS! Works with my various Gigasets too. Enjoy!
According to our information, it is compatible, but has never been tested so far.
The Plantronics is fantastic for telephoning and video calls (especially because it is wireless), but I listen to music with the https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/bose-quietcomfort-35-ii-over-ear-silber-kopfhoerer-headset-6521993, the Plantronics-NC is somehow not enough for me to work undisturbed in an open-plan office...
I don't think so - the dongle is really necessary for a quality connection, that's the whole point. At home, the dongle is connected to a USB hub. My BT experiences **without** the dongle were not up to the expected results (old macbook pro, or recent PC). I've been using it for a while now and it's a great product. It's a great performance compared to the competition. It's a must-have for Skype for Business for example.
Version M (Microsoft) is certified for Skype for Business and optimised for Microsoft Lync. The standard version is for UC applications and softphones from Avaya, Cisco, Skype and more. The functions are basically the same.
Hello, Recording via PC: YES PS 4: No Greetings
Hi GianVo, both times yes. I use it mostly for Skype etc but have tested it with audio recorder and it works. My son also uses it on his PS4 (then I can look for it again).
