I would only use it for small digicams or mobiles, it's too wobbly for a heavy, clunky SLR-style thing in my opinion.

I will say no. It is extremely tight on the Galaxy S21 Ultra (impossible to use with a protective case), and the iPhone 14 Pro Max is almost 2 mm wider than the Galaxy.

The iPhone 12 pro max is approx. 78mm wide and the part of the tripod in which the iPhone is clamped opens up to approx. 83mm. The iPhone 12 pro max should therefore fit (possibly without a protective cover).

I use an iPhone XR with Lifeproof case and it fits just fine, but for streaming I also ordered the Manfrotto Pixi mount (item number 11229325). I am very satisfied with it!
Hello, yes you can attach a light ring; the holder for smartphone is on the ring itself and everything can be attached to the tripod - you have to search, there is the matching ring on the Digitec website - best regards

No, such a holder is not included. At least the tripod has a remote control with a dedicated button for iPhones and Android phones.
