somfy Connectivity Kit
Yes, that works well. I control the somfy with Siri.
After setup, the Connectivity Kit runs directly via WLAN with the Tahoma app from Somfy. I only need this as a bridge to Homeassistant and control everything via it (time, weather dependency, etc.). But the Tahoma app also allows scenarios. But I don't know anything about that - so you would have to test it yourself. Please note that the Connectivity Kit can control a maximum of 10 blinds. I currently have 10 blinds, so that's fine. But if you have more, you'll need a different product. Good luck!
As far as I know, this is not possible. But it's not necessary because the Somfy Connectivity Kit connects to the WLAN and then takes over the connections to the blind controls. I don't know whether the Somfy Connectivity Kit can be integrated into the Homematic app.
According to what is noted on the forums on this subject on the somfy site, it depends on the device to be controlled: an RTS type device will not be visible in HomeKit but one that uses the io protocol will be visible and usable. In any case, that's what I discovered despite myself: my Velux blinds are in HomeKit (io) but not my somfy balcony blind (RTS), yet everything works fine in the somfy app.
Hi David, that should work. I myself have been able to connect a 16 year old Velux sun visor that is only equipped with a remote control to the Connectivity Kit. Greetings Andy
The somfy Connectivity Kit is sufficient for this. I have also connected it to HomeKit this way.
We have Velux motors, even those are displayed with a percentage in the Somfy app (after setup), never opened again and displayed in the HomeKit app.
I don't understand your question. Firstly, you need to download the application for your mobile phone and follow the instructions. The box is connected when the light is white.
TaHoma app from Somfy works great I find!
Read in exactly with the buttons and test ready ✅ easy ! Yes
Here: https://www.somfy.de/produkte/1870755/connectivity-kit there is nothing written about Velux, but here: https://www.somfy.it/soluzioni/1870755/connectivity-kit-sc it says that it can also connect with Velux products. Sorry for my German language...
You must move the blinds to the centre during the teach-in process on the switch or on the remote control in order for it to work afterwards.
