Reception of SRG/SRF on Eutelsat Hot Bird is technically possible as the receiver supports DVB-S2X, which is sufficient for reception of most satellite channels. However, you will need a Sat Access card and a CA module. A suitable CA module would be one that is compatible with the Xcrypt Smartcard Reader. Unfortunately, there is no specific information on exactly which CA module works, but it should be a module that works with the Xcrypt reader.

I have hardly used my device. Your problem could also be related to the image/operating system. (The one supplied is as well as just to eliminate) The image I used is also practically unusable.
