Using it in Blender so far, will gonna use it as well in Unreal Engine and Substance Tools.
I wasn't sure about it, but it's so easy to navigate as soon as it's set up correctly. Now I'm literally just flying around in 3D space pretty fast, it's amazing. Yet you do have to figure out how to use it best.. Probably not much worth for modeling, but certainly for cruising your 3D scene, painting or sculpting objects.. You have to find your usecase for this mouse, otherwise it's a nice expensive toy ;) But really the navigation is excellent so far. Use case is also, I think it's best having the normal mouse in my right hand and the spacemouse in my left hand and then have as many buttons configured to be representing the tools you need. Probably you'll need different button configs per use case (one for sculpting, one for painting, one for modeling or whatever other)

I bought this controller mainly for Google Earth Pro, various audio applications. Not a single application works.
I opened a support ticket and 3DConnexion is aware of this problem.
When asked when the bugs would be solved, I was told that there is no information at this time when the problems can be solved. 425CHF without knowing when my investment will generally work. This is not acceptable!
Putting a product on the market without first testing whether the applications you have written for it work is very questionable.

I used to work with 3D CAD programmes years ago. Since I have recently started with 3D printing and mainly print functional parts, I have delved into the topic of 3D CAT again. Using the mouse and keyboard works, but rotating, zooming and positioning a part with it is a PITA. With the SpaceMouse you have the feeling of being 'connected' to your object. Rotating, zooming, tilting - everything is intuitive. And all this after only a few minutes of familiarisation.
Even if the price is not exactly cheap, the SpaceMouse Enterprise is more than worth it.

I've been struggling with the price of the "3Dconnection Enterprice" 3D mouse for a long time.
I'm currently starting to get back into my traditional field of construction and will be designing houses. When and how much money I will earn with it is open. That's why I wanted to wait first. - If you know that you will be using a 3D CAD system regularly - several hours a day - you should not wait long, because if you have already got used to the shortcuts of the keyboard, you will not use the shortcuts of the 3D mouse and will keep switching from the 3D mouse to the keyboard.
So get the version with many buttons as soon as possible, or then just the rotary knob.
