Slightly different from the round-edged models (up to iPhone11).
Unlike previous original Apple Leather Cases, this one is now no longer "open" at the bottom of the Lightning connector on the iPhone 12. The edge of the case pulls through fully, without interruption as was previously. In addition, the transition from display to case edge feels a little more lush than in the round models, but for me the display also seems more protected in a fall.
All in all, what I expected. This rating makes sense especially since that is not apparent in the pictures with the continuous edge. Googles best times a view from the front.
And as always with this Leather Case, the older it gets, the nicer it gets! I use it with a Pacific Blue iPhone 12, which seems like a match in terms of color!
PS: By the way, when charging with MagSafe imprints of the ring can be seen on the case. Apple itself warns of this in the enclosed blah blah note and reviewers have already reported. But have no experience with it.
*Update after 3 months of use:
-iPhone fell down my stairs (12 steps) and didn't get a single scratch, case protected very well.
-Patina is a bit of a wait, case still looks relatively new, wish it would age a bit faster for looks sake.... see pictures.Pro

High quality but small drawback
Everything is top, as usual. But the case can easily be pulled off from the front, so the phone is not as well protected against frontal impacts as its predecessor (because of the angular design). Therefore only 4 stars.

The quality of the case and the magsafe are great. The iphone sometimes tends to come out of the housing though. The quality/price ratio can be better but not surprising for Apple.
