The software supplied is poor
With the software supplied, the results are very poor. So there is no reason to buy the Elite version of the Spyder X. With the software supplied, two screens calibrated side by side look totally different. In addition, the screen looks different after each calibration. The open source software "DisplayCAL" is a bit more complicated to use and it takes longer to calibrate the monitor, but it delivers excellent results.
Since I cannot recommend the Datacolor software and the Spider X PRO and Spider X Elite are identical in construction and only differ in the software supplied, there is no reason to pay the extra price for the Elite.Pro

Not up to scratch
It was very easy to install the spyder x pro and the application was very easy to understand. However, during the analysis I had an error several times in the application that wouldn't let us get to the end.
When everything was working we could see an improvement in the image but overall it was very yellow.
For the price I'm quite disappointed with the quality of the product and for the time being I'll be content with doing a manual calibration.Pro
