    Horny

Buy it if you have thought about it! Then load the /e/OS on it. Are a few steps that can be demanding, but it's worth it! Completely without Google lives well :)

    Fairphone 4

A MUST for everyone who does not always want to have the new high-end device and is satisfied with an absolutely everyday smartphone.

Attention! For the extended manufacturer warranty of 5 years you have to fill out a form
in the first 90 days after purchase at Fairphone. (goes 5min.)

Only the processor can not be replaced. But there are rumors that the can also be replaced when the 4+ is out with a better processor. There will also be a better camera in the future.

Better than 3+ but to be avoided

Overall, it's a good phone and I'm totally behind the fairphone philosophy (I've already said this about the fairphone 3+).

But after 3 or 4 months of use I started having serious and recurring ghost input problems (another
user here has the same problem...). Specifically, my screen goes crazy when I think I'm pressing on the screen in all directions. Even when the phone is just sitting on my desk...

I'm in contact with support, in English because otherwise it's too easy, and so far no solution has been offered.

With a little less bad faith, they ask me if I agree to send it in for repair for an unspecified period of time, but it's difficult for me. I use my phone for everything (e-banking, car key, password manager, double authentication, etc.).

I'm thinking of buying another screen out of my own pocket, but I don't know if that will solve the problem permanently... Knowing that opening the fairphone, unplugging the screen and plugging it back in gives me a few days' respite.

In short, as it stands, I wouldn't recommend it, and subject to a solution being found for my screen, this will certainly be my last fairphone.

Unfortunately, it was a flop on the outside and on the inside.

I can only recommend the device.
