Super price-performance ratio
I had the Forerunner 45 for a few years and the 55 is more than worth the small extra cost. I am very satisfied with the product. The Garmin SW on the smartphone and PC is also very well done.

It does exactly what it should do and costs just right
Its perfect for beginners, who want to track their runs. I like that it is a watch, i prefer the look over the look of just a rubber band with a square screen in it. I think if you actually want to have a watch that can do more, you have to pay a lot more. (The question is who really needs it?) it hasnt got the best screen, but i think very few watches actually have a good screen.

Perfect everyday companion
Switching from a cloth display to buttons on the side is unfamiliar and takes a little time to get used to
