Huawei E5576-320 Mobile wireless network equipment
Since we don't have an internet provider at home, this part serves its purpose super. We always leave it plugged in, which is probably not very healthy for the device. However, this part has been providing us with internet for almost 2 years now, which makes the purchase of a router and an expensive internet provider unnecessary. I only had to ask for a second sim card from the mobile provider, which is only 10.- monthly and bam - I have internet everywhere at home.

This review was created for a different variant: E5576-320
The product works very well, I use it in the car so that the children can connect with their phones and in the train between Lausanne and Zürich for my laptop.
The original configuration is a bit complicated and I had to look for the instructions on the internet. Once this is done, the device works perfectly as soon as I turn it on.
I miss a more gradual battery status indicator: currently when the device indicates red, it means that the battery is low and I miss that before starting a long train trip.

I wouldn't recommend this device - the battery is obviously not unique to rechargeables, but after two months it will have lost half its electrical capacity.
This is not just due to my model, I have bought this model twice and the problem is repeated synchronously...
The device itself is great, but the design isn't optimal in terms of the battery, as it has to be constantly on and its autonomy doesn't allow you to play all day long, so it has to be charged.
This wears out all the batteries, to the point where the battery is dead and can no longer power the device.
Someone has saved in the wrong place! This version (-320), for example, does not work in the USA / North America and parts of Central/South America.

Have been using this device with a sim (data plan) for over 2 years as the main internet connection for all devices (TVs, tablets, smartphones) throughout the house, works flawlessly through walls. Battery has not blown up so far despite always being connected to the power.
The 4G SIM card at my location was tested on a phone at delivering 300 mbps. When the SIM card is inserted into this Huawei router, it does not even reach 50 mbps. The test location is very near a cell tower with direct line of sight, no interference.
There is no point in advertising 150 mps connection speed in the specifications when not even 50 is possible.
