These are studio monitors not normal speakers. Please be sure you know what you need. You might also need a dedicated power adapter so that you don't get much power noise (via usb cable for instance).
Normal speakers modelate sound in a way that you have a better audition experience. Studio monitors like these are designed to give you raw output, exactly how the sound engineers recorded the content. Also due to lack of filters/modelators, it has a small hissing noise. Probably very good in its class, strong and very loud, but soft sounds good too, a bit harder (by feel)
compared to Yamaha HS8W (Art. No 5675714) and surprisingly much better with noise under same
conditions. So, noise hardly noticeable, not disturbing at all.
* Power cable with Swiss Type J plug, does not fit into the EU socket.

Price performance is perfect here, I have myself for 12 years 2 pair of those Zuahause (gen2) and am still satisfied, the things are indestructible. But you should not expect miracles here, they are cheap monitors and there is still a lot of room for improvement, but it's still amazing what you get here for the money. The next sensible upgrade in a higher price range for me is only the Neumann KH120.
All in all, you can produce very well and cleanly with them, especially in the electronic area, the most important thing is still the room. The KRK are very low-fatigue and fun, especially compared to Genelec and Eve.

Solid studio monitors for a relatively low price. It's a shame that the sound isn't particularly balanced. Bass is hard to define without a subwoofer and productions quickly become "bass heavy" with these monitors. But once you get to know them, they are a good reference.

The KRK Rokit RP8 are really the hammer, for the price really top active boxes. Super quality, top sound quality, top bass, and top workmanship. For all those who have a sound studio at home or would like to have I can only recommend the boxes.
Pro
Quite decent sound, many setting options
However, after only 1 month a monitor was defective and to date no repair or replacement! Very poor really I am disappointed
