Disappointing performance and battery life.
It is not as good as the original one. But it is an easy replacement. I do not understand why the manufacturer cannot manage to deliver the same performance as the original one.
Monday model?
Bought 2 years and 3 months ago (other shop) and installed. Macbook runtimes have improved from 2-3 hours per charge (original battery, 6 years old) to 3-4 hours. Battery information programs have always asserted the health of the battery.
Now, shortly after the warranty expired, it ballooned with about 70 charge cycles and nearly blew up my MacBook.
Hopefully a Monday model, otherwise I could have ordered directly through ali...

Budget battery, replacement possible without much effort
The 1st battery was unfortunately newly defective (charging not possible...), but was quickly replaced by a replacement battery. This one then worked fine. Solvent and plastic spatula for loosening the old battery were included. Unfortunately, however, no screwdriver (Torx5) to open the MBP case.

If the original battery fails, this is a good alternative.
Product fits, service from digitec.ch clearly has room for improvement.
Battery has a different shape, which irritated me. After persistent back and forth (my questions) and a little back and forth (digitec.ch's reaction), the battery manufacturer's support team confirmed that the battery fits a Macbook Pro Retina 15" mid 2012.
Removing the old battery took a little time because it was glued in, but was much easier than I had feared, and was surprisingly easy with the solvent (small amount included in the set) and thick dental floss to separate the element from the base (instructions on YouTube). With an extra bottle of isopropyl alcohol (approx. 50 ml, available in drugstores) you don't have to skimp on the solvent and you still have a reserve after removing the old battery to clean the floor really clean. With this, you can glue the new battery into a clean home. This installation is then really simple. My Macbook runs perfectly and in battery mode again for several hours :-).
