Unfortunately no good.
Ordered 3 times and 3 times defective ex works (each time the joystick).
Software for Windows 11 cannot be downloaded (not available).
I contacted Logitech support, who were more interested in my personal details than the problem. After some back and forth, I got the software.
On the 3rd product, which arrived damaged, I wrote to support "that I am disappointed with your product and will not be getting another".
The reply from their other support was even better:
"Thank you for your patience. Our next level of support would like to know the following
Which software version did he use to adjust the axle?
What simulator are you using?
Have you tried to recalibrate the axis with Reg Edit? Here is the link"
Again to mention that the defect was mechanical and it was confirmed so by their support after they received my video.
Unfortunately, the customer is not even noticed here.
Therefore:
1 star for the product
1 star for Logitech support
Good part, the only question is, is it a mid-range product or neither fish nor fowl. Overall, you get better looks with the X52 Pro than with the X52 but not really more quality. The only, but no less important reason to buy the Pro: #lidergeil.
I use the HOTAS to play DCS (A-10C Warthog).
I like the look better than the X52, that's why I bought it. The functions and configurations are varied and the workmanship is good.
The price-performance ratio is right for me in terms of looks and workmanship.
You have to make a few concessions when it comes to the mechanics. The most important things are right, the thrust regulator, the joystick axes and the buttons. You can set deadzones for the individual axes in the driver, which is certainly helpful for some games. Fortunately, with DCS, in addition to the deadzones, you can also modulate the sensitivity depending on the deflection in order to achieve better fine control than if the axis simply controlled linearly.
My problem is that the rotation controllers and the small slider on the thrust controller "wobble". For example, I use the rotation sliders to rotate the camera absolutely. Sometimes the driver can't "decide" on the exact position and the camera shakes back and forth. Then I have to move the slider again a bit to find a position where the camera is still. The same with the small slider, when I want to use it for zoom, for example, the zoom suddenly jumps in between.
TL;DR
The rotation controls and the small slider are not precise. Therefore unsuitable for certain applications.
With my colleague who has an X52, it's all about the same.
The small nibble for the mouse is useless for controlling the mouse, but if you reconfigure it so that only one axis is used for another command (e.g. zoom in and zoom out), it works.
Finally the software... (the last thing :D) actually, you should only give one point because of the software, it's really embarrassing how bad it is. But in the end you can turn a blind eye, because most of the time you can configure the controls in the games yourself.

If you're looking for something in this price segment, it's better to go for the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS Hotas. It costs less and is much better.
If you can afford a little more, get a VKB NXT EVO Gladiator as a stick instead and use one of the axles built into it as a throttle. You can buy a real throttle later, e.g. the VKB STECS.

He doesn't like Windows 11, but has got it running.
Otherwise great
